Encounters Smash Battles Damage Calculator

This calculator estimates knockback intensity based on current damage percentage and attack type. Use it to plan kill confirms and understand when your finisher will launch opponents off-stage. Select a champion and input values below.

At 0% damage, knockback is minimal — opponents stay on stage. At 50%, Special attacks start threatening edge guards. At 100%+, even Basic attacks can kill. At 150%, virtually any hit launches far enough to die off-stage without recovery.

Ultimate attacks add a flat knockback bonus on top of percentage scaling. Construct's Ultimate mode adds approximately 110% knockback multiplier to all attacks during its duration.

If the calculator shows "Kill Range" for your current damage and attack type, commit your Ultimate or charged Special. If it shows "Edge Guard Zone," position at the ledge and wait for opponent recovery attempt. Full combat theory on our combat guide.
